Is Among Us ok for 11 year olds?

Among Us is not suitable for primary school-aged children under 12. While the graphics are cartoon-like there is still the use of knives and visuals of the cartoon players being stabbed and killed. Communication with others is essential to gameplay as it's all about working as a team to find the 'imposter.

What the heck is Among Us?

Among Us is a 2018 online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by American game studio Innersloth. The game allows for cross-platform play; it was released on iOS and Android devices in June 2018 and on Windows later that year in November.

Is Among Us a true story?

Among Us was inspired by the real-life group social deduction game, Mafia, and by the science-fiction horror film The Thing. The idea for the concept was given by Marcus Bromander, who played Mafia since he was a kid.

Why did Among Us fall off?

Despite being an incredibly fun game to play, the reception for Among Us after it first launched was less than impressive to put it kindly. An ineffective marketing strategy is just one of the reasons that's been given to explain the tiny player base and relatively poor reception that the game received.
